A wiki is a group of editable web pages that allows users to add, edit, or delete content.
The term is adopted from the Hawai’ian language, where "wiki wiki" means "fast."
What distinguishes wikis from blogs and forums is that there is no inherent structure: wiki pages can be interconnected and organized as required.
Wikis are infinitely expandable. You can have as many sub-pages as needed.
Wikis are easy to create because they use a WYSIWYG editor tool similar to word processing software. Therefore, the user does not need a knowledge of HTML or other computer language.
